Transportation & Construction GIRL will hold an event Sept. 24 to teach girls about the career opportunities available in transportation and construction.
Held at Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Golden, Colo., Transportation & Construction GIRL Day will connect participants with industry partners through immersive, hands-on experiences meant to expand career awareness, challenge stereotypes and strengthen Colorado’s future infrastructure workforce pipeline.
Transportation & Construction GIRL’s primary mission is to encourage, inspire and empower girls and young women to explore financially independent and sustainable careers in the construction and transportation industries. Its efforts also address recruiting, nurturing and retaining more women in those fields. In 2025, 2,000 young women attended Transportation & Construction GIRL Day, making it the largest event for girls in Colorado.
